The Gerrit Rietveld Academie is proud to present the work of 162 graduates in art and design in the Graduation Show 2023. The exhibition will take place from 5 to 9 July 2023 in the three buildings of the art academy in Amsterdam.
The Graduation Show provides a platform for students to share their graduation projects with the public, and it marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their lives as visual artists and designers.
From exuberant performances to thoughtful moments of reflection, the exhibition will engage and challenge visitors. The exhibition offers a wide range of forms of expression, including film, ceramics, glass, graphic design, text, drawing, painting, photography, textiles and more, and is accompanied by a series of events including performances and talks.
We look forward to welcoming you to the opening ceremony and/or the exhibition!

Sandberg Instituut Graduation Exhibition 2023
We are very happy to invite you to the upcoming graduation exhibition of The Sandberg Instituut which will take place over 3 days and 9 locations in Amsterdam between 9-11 June. We proudly present the work of 59 graduating students from our five main departments (Critical Studies, Design, Dirty Art Department, Fine Arts, and Studio for Immediate Spaces) and two temporary programs (Blacker Blackness and Ecologies of Transformation) at iets Graduation Exhibition 2023.
Graduates will be presenting their work to the public between Friday and Sunday 9-11 June, 11 am-9pm, at various location in Amsterdam.

During the annual Graduation Show from June 30 to July 4, the works of more than 200 graduates can be seen. The corridors and classrooms of the KABK are transformed into exhibition spaces in which young international artists and designers show with their work how they look at the outside world, how they react to it and how they position themselves.
Take a journey of discovery through the corridors of the KABK and get inspired by performances, illustrations, materials, graphic design, installations, photography, film, painting, objects and sound art.
Entrance to the Graduation Show is open and free for all.

It all starts with . . .
Returning to the essence: showing the infinite in the finite. In other words, the arts should offer alternative way of looking at reality. It starts with imagination.
During this annual graduation exhibition, the graduates of the Maastricht Institute of Arts show how they look at the outside world, react and position themselves with different eyes. They invite the visitor to engage in conversation. The nature of the exhibited works varies from performance, installation, graphic design, illustration, photo, film, sound art, products, materials, object to theoretical reflection.
Official opening on Thursday 6 July:, 19.30h (Herdenkingsplein).
Followed by the Gilbert de Bontridder Prijs and Mique Eggermont Prijs ceremonies (De Stuers Ateliers).

Na het succes van vorig jaar presenteren we voor de tweede keer 140 afgestudeerde kunstenaars, vormgevers en docenten van de bachelor- en masteropleidingen in voormalige strokartonfabriek De Toekomst in Scheemda.
Deze nieuwe lichting professionals heeft hun creatieve talent en passie voor kunst, design en kunsteducatie tot uiting gebracht in een diverse en inspirerende verzameling werken. We bieden hen en alle verhalen die zij te vertellen hebben met trots een podium in de rijke setting van ons Gronings Erfgoed. Een speciale editie, want dit jaar is tevens het jubileumjaar van de Academie, die 225 jaar geleden werd opgericht als Academie in de Teken- Bouw- en Zeevaartkunde.

Saxion / Jan des Bouvrie college
Traditioneel sluiten de studenten van de kunstopleiding Interior Design & Styling hun studie af met de meesterproef. Vol trots presenteren zij dan ook hun afstudeerwerken op 13 en 14 juli a.s. tijdens de XPO in de Lebuinuskerk in Deventer. De XPO bestaat uit een grote verscheidenheid van ruimtelijke ontwerpen met de handtekening van de aanstormende talenten op het gebied van interieurontwerp.
XPO Event
Op donderdag 13 juli is de expositie van 11.00 tot 17.00 gratis te bezoeken. Op vrijdag 14 juli vindt ’s ochtends de feestelijke diplomering van de exposerende studenten plaats. Vervolgens zal het XPO Event plaatsvinden. Dit jaar is het thema Ambacht & Materiaal en omvat een interactief en inspirerend programma voor alle interieurdesign professionals.
Laat je inspireren!
Textielarchitect Samira Boon zal een gastlezing geven. Deze internationaal erkende ontwerper haalt haar inspiratie uit originele origami en heeft een studio in zowel Amsterdam als Tokyo. Daarnaast bestaat het programma uit experiences waarbij je actief betrokken wordt om het vakmanschap van de interieurontwerper te beleven. Hoe? Dat blijft nog een verrassing!

HMC
Het HMC is regelmatig startpunt voor het doorlopen van opleidingen op weg naar de titel. Lees hiervoor ook de verhalen op weg naar de titel op deze pagina. HMC stelt dit jaar: “Onze studenten verdienen een lintje! Zij hebben de mooiste meesterwerkstukken gemaakt en laten dit zien tijdens de eindexamenexpositie met als thema Royal”.
Studenten van de locatie Amsterdam presenteren hun werk op 10 en 11 juli. Studenten van de locatie Rotterdam presenteren hun werk op 11 en 12 juli. Op beide locaties zijn de deuren geopend van 11.00 uur tot 21.00 uur.
